2020 MLK Day of Service
In perfect companion with the MLK Day parade is the 2020 Day of Service on January 20th. This marks the 10th year Leadership Long Beach will partner with local community organizations and the City of Long Beach to host hundreds of volunteers to serve on the MLK National Day of Service.
Individuals and groups looking to volunteer can sign up here on the site. The program expects us to have service projects all throughout Long Beach. Kids and families are also welcome to volunteer and the organization will signify any opportunities that are not kid-friendly. On the other hand, companies, groups, and organizations can sponsor and host their own service project site. All sponsorships allow for promotional opportunities (banners/signs). Furthermore, the sponsoring company or group can request that all of their employees serve on the same project.
