Frequently Asked Questions - Hotel Current

Currently, our pool is open with modified hours and restrictions.  Our pool is open daily from 9 AM - 6 PM.  Due to COVID19 restrictions we can only have 20 people in the pool area at any given time.  Guests are required to make reservations for the pool for 2 hour time frames. First come, first served based on availability. 

The hotel has a strict no smoking policy in all guestrooms, indoor areas and meeting space.  Any and all smoking must be contained in outdoor areas and in designated locations.

Any guestroom smoking violations of any sort will result in a $250.00 (per infraction) non-refundable charge.

Hotel Current does not offer connecting rooms.  Typically, multiple room bookings are assigned next to each other. Based on availability.

Mini-fridges are provided in every room.  Microwaves are limited and can be requested if needed.  In the event a microwave is not available for your room, there is access to a microwave at the front desk.

Hotel Current offers four ADA rooms.  There are 2 ADA King Bed rooms and 2 ADA Two Double Beds rooms on the property.

 The minimum age requirement to book and stay  is 18 years old, with proof of identification.

In-room safes are provided in each guestroom.  

Cancel by 3 PM local hotel time at least 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid a 1 night room and tax penalty charge.

For sending packages to the hotel we ask that you include your name and arrival date on the package.  Once the package is received by the hotel it will be kept with the front desk staff until your arrival.

No. Sorry, we require a major credit card to guarantee your room reservation. Please review the terms and cancellation policy before making your reservation.
As soon as you have completed the booking process, a confirmation page will appear in your browser session. This page shows all of your reservation details, including the booking number and your PIN code, so you can access your confirmation online. We will also send you a confirmation email with all of your booking information.
During the booking process you can enter any special requests into the "Special Requests" box on the "Your Details" page. Once you have received your booking confirmation, you can follow up with the hotel directly to confirm that your request can be met. You can find the hotel’s contact details on the Contact Us page of our website.
Simply follow the instructions to modify or cancel your reservation found in your Reservation Confirmation Email. Alternately, you can find the link to Cancel or Modify Your Reservation in the footer of the hotel’s website. Please note, your reservation is not canceled until and unless you receive an email confirmation for the cancellation.

Yes. However, our hotel will only recognize a credit card on which the authorized payee’s name is clearly present and visible, copy of the payee’s identification and a credit card authorization form is completed and faxed back to our property. You can contact us for the Credit Card Authorization Form and for further instructions if your reservation will have a third party payee.
We consider a group to be a reservation of 6 rooms or more. For any group reservations, we request that you contact us directly or use the form that is spawned when you select 6+ rooms in the Check Availability function above.

Check-in starts at 3pm, if rooms are available prior to 3pm we will allow you to check-in early.  Subject to availability.

There are 2 floors.  Stair access only, no elevators.

Unfortunately, we do not provide shuttle service from LAX airport. Your best option from LAX to the hotel would be a ride share service like Uber or Lyft.  There are also shuttle services that can be arranged from the airport such as Super Shuttle or Prime Time Shuttle outside of using a taxi.

Rollaway beds are an additional $10.00 per night.  The are given first come, first serve.

Pets can stay for a one-time non-refundable fee of $50.00 per stay, up to 2 pets.

Cash is accepted. However, guests must a have a valid credit/debit card on file for the security deposit.  No prepaid credit/debit cards accepted.
