For many, 2019 was a challenging year with plenty of hardship along the way. What better way to start the new year and new decade right than with some gut-busting laughs? Star performers like Chris Rock, Chris D’elia, Tim Allen, and Whitney Cummings frequent this classic Southern California comedy venue. The Laugh Factory Long Beach showcases top comedians three nights a week (Thursday – Saturday). Check out our guide to The Laugh Factory and get your reservations in for the next show.

Laugh Factory History

First opening its doors in 1979, the world-famous Laugh Factory boasts locations in Hollywood, Chicago, Las Vegas, Reno, and of course Long Beach. Founder Jamie Masada, is a stalwart in the comedy scene and is recognized as launching the careers of countless talented comedians. The New York Daily Times even went so far as to call him “The Real King of Comedy.” Some of the many comedians to perform at his venues include Ellen DeGeneres, Jeff Dunham, Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart, George Lopez, Bill Maher, and plenty more.

The Long Beach Location

The Long Beach location boasts 12,500 square feet of space, which just so happens to make it one of the largest comedy clubs in the world. Furthermore, the Long Beach club is the official home to the Laugh Factory Stand-Up Comedy Hall of Fame & Museum. The facility is also open for banquets, special events, and provides a small VIP room or smaller gatherings. Make sure to place your food and drink order from the full bar while you enjoy the show.
