Heartwell Golf Course: Heartwell is an enjoyable alternative is a fun 18-hole par-3 course. With holes ranging from 85 to 140 yards, two water hazards, and numerous bunkers, this course is challenging enough for any veteran while remaining beginner-friendly. 

Heartwell Golf Course offers a practice facility feature with simulated environments to prepare you for even the most difficult of shots or chips. Their 35 full-size chipping and putting greens provide their golfers with plenty of room & practice, a full-service restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and a professionally staffed pro shop. Best of all, Tiger Woods played his first round of golf at this very course when he was three years old.

Recreation Park Golf Course: Nestled among stunning rolling hills, Recreation Park was constructed in 1910 as the original site of The Virginia Country Club. TheCity of Long Beach currently owns and operates the course after purchasing the land when the original course moved. 

Known affectionately as “The Park,” it is one of the busiest golf courses in the entire country and it has the facilities to prove it. You can enjoy the night lighted driving range, practice greens, pro shop, a full-service restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and also banquet facilities for up to 150 people. This Long Beach golf course is 18 holes of pure fun and a great way to spend the day.

El Dorado Golf Course: The El Dorado was once the site of the Queen Mary Open, but now it hosts the $160,000 Long Beach Open. The beautiful 18-hole venue is often described as a ‘player’s course’ thanks to its unique layout, hundreds of trees, and various hazards. 

 

For the hardcore golfers, there are extensive practice facilities with everything you need to take your game to the next level. There’s also a full-service restaurant that can accommodate up to 150 people for meetings and special events. For bigger groups, El Dorado offers a tent that can hold up to 650 guests.
