Kids will love the patches featuring games, tractor rides, and petting zoos. 1. PA’S PUMPKIN PATCH

 

No list of Long Beach Pumpkin patches is complete without mentioning the spectacular Pa’s Pumpkin Patch. There are plenty of pumpkins to choose from, but that’s just the beginning. The fun for all ages patch features carnival rides, animal attractions, games, and a BBQ. The space is also available for school groups, scout groups, birthday parties, and special events. 2. DELUCA FARM 

Located in nearby Hermosa Beach, Deluca Farm is a stalwart in the community offering annual pumpkin patches and Christmas tree lots. A smaller option compared to Pa’s Pumpkin Patch, Deluca Farm occupies a well-decorated lot with plenty of decorations as well as farm animals to keep the kids entertained. Visit this fun little patch for a family-owned pumpkin patch experience that will put you in the mood for Halloween.

3. MR. JONE’S PUMPKIN PATCH

 

Another family-owned patch near Long Beach is Mr. Jones Pumpkin Patch in nearby Torrance, CA. You’ll find all the classic pumpkin types like the Jack-be-Littles, Cinderellas, and the “Big Mac” pumpkins which can weigh up to 150 pounds! This long-standing pumpkin patch began in 1981 and had more than 1,000 pumpkins on opening day. Visit Mr. Jones for high quality pumpkins grown in the San Joaquin Valley, Manteca, and Oregon.

4. WHITTIER PUMPKIN PATCH 

A bit further, but still close enough for a day trip from Long Beach is the Whittier Pumpkin Patch Whittier, CA. Kids will love the Jumping Zone with a variety of different inflatables and a $13 price of admission. Following the Jumping Zone, head over to Tractor Town to see the newest addition to this family-friendly pumpkin patch. Furthermore, there are pony rides that cost $7 per child and provide the perfect Halloween photo opp. Finally, the included petting zoo allows you to feed cute baby goats and plenty of other animals.
