Long Beach is an exciting city with plenty to do on New Year’s Eve. With this year being a new decade, make sure to celebrate accordingly. That’s why we put together a list of our favorite Long Beach events like New Year’s Eve at the Waterfront, Aquarium of the Pacific New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s on the Queen Mary. 1. NEW YEAR’S EVE ON THE QUEEN MARY

Ring in the New year aboard the historic Queen Mary on December 31st. This year’s theme is past & present where guests are invited to step back in time and explore the ships one of a kind themed decks and ballrooms for amazing live music, DJ’s Dancers, dueling pianos, and plenty more. Finally, end the night with some of SoCal’s best fireworks shooting straight of the stern of the Queen Mary at midnight.

2. NEW YEAR’S EVE AT THE WATERFRONT

New Year’s Eve at the Waterfront is a family-oriented event that’s completely free and fun for all ages. The event runs from 5-10 pm and features beer, wine, food, entertainment, live music, a kids zone, and fireworks coordinated with an East Coast midnight countdown. The event is located at Rainbow harbor at Pine Ave.

3. AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC NEW YEARS

The Aquarium of the Pacific New Year’s Eve presented by Night Dive is an exciting way for adults to experience the aquarium. Live bands will play in the Great Hall and DJ’s will be spinning records in the galleries. The doors are set to open at 8 pm with a countdown to midnight and the last call at 1 am. The only requirements are that you have fun.

4. NYE COCKTAIL CRUISE ON THE HORNBLOWER

 

There’s no better way to celebrate NYE in Long Beach than aboard the Hornblower for a 3-hour brunch & cocktail cruise. This 21 and over cruise features a champagne toast at midnight, coffee, appetizer trays, live DJs, yacht decorations, party favors, drinks, and plenty of fun. The dress code is anywhere from casual to dressy so feel free to wear whatever you want!

5. NEW YEAR’S EVE FIREWORKS CRUISE FOR THE FAMILY

Looking for the perfect fireworks show to take the kids to? Harbor Breeze Cruises is hosting a family fireworks cruise on the water of Long Beach Harbor. The ship boards at 7:30 pm and includes a narrated view of the harbor lights after dark with the culmination of a majestic fireworks show.
